A national RIBA award for St Augustine's Church

The refurbishment of St Augustine’s Church continues to inspire and receive critical acclaim. It has now won a local and national RIBA award; one of only fifty buildings in the country to do so.

In October the church was part of the London Design Festival and Open House Architecture festival. Many visitors and architecture-aficionados enjoyed guided tours of the building and new liturgical furnishings. The director of Open House, the biggest architecture festival in the world, chose our church for ‘Editor’s Pick’, a shortlist of three must-see building in the festival. Elsewhere, on London Radio, the former chair of RIBA also recommended our church as a place to visit.
